Question about Apache 3 Channel Micro Indoor Helicopter (Army Green)

1 Answer

Tremendous machine vibration

My toy apache helicopter seem to have broken one of the "A" main blades and the top connect buckle got lost, all happened after a crash into the wall. I replaced the "A" blade and connect buckle, but the machine is vibrating tremendously even at take off and it is not stable because of this vibration. It never had this vibrating problem before the crash and I've made sure the newly installed blade is free to move back and forth just like the other one is. Please help me with my problem Richard

Make sure the "connect buckle" is connect to the correct side, and not bent in the middle, it should be straight. If this doesn't help, new blades are sometimes different weights try to matching the weight of opposing blades you may even need to sticky tape a small weight underneath the blade to get them balance. Don't stick anything on to the top of the blade.

Rc 3 channel apache helicopter how to replace balance bar without the tool kit provided

Cut the balance bar off until the pins are exposed. Use some pliers and squeeze the pin out and then put the new balance bar back on and put the pin back in.

I did it this way without the tool kit, my balance bar was already broken so it wasn't an issue to cut it. It worked for me, I am flying it right now.

Sometimes the metal weights fall out of the top rotating bar causing the blades to be out of balance and the bottom blade to hit the tail. Check to see if both the weights are in the top bar.

My helicopter wont come more than 6 inches off of the ground. What could be wrong? There is nothing tangled in it and the item is new.

sounds like remote control is out of adjustment. Instruction book if you have one shows how to null out the rotation i found that if not right to much rotation the main blades lose some power. When i adjusted it to cancel the rotation the copter lifted quickly. may be the problem. adjustment is on the lower rigfht of controler.

My helicopter wont fly the main propellers on top of the helicopter stopped working

either stripped the main gear inside the heli or the main blades where they slide on the shaft. you should be able to buy a replacement set of blades. try that and see if it'll fly.

Will not stop spinnig to the left

The heli will do that if you hover less than 1meter from the floor ! or you may need to adjust the swash plate screws Look at them very carefully and draw a diagram if you remove a screw and replace screw into another hole , in case you want to put it back as it was?,Also remove two of those little [8]shaped hooks that tie the blades to the main shaft. Remove one from the top A set of blades and one from the Lower B set of blades You dont need to have all four connected at once.If you click on this link http://www.maplin.co.uk/Media/PDFs/N32FR%20manual.pdf it has the complete operating manual of your apache model in Pdf form (U Will need to download Adobe reader)

I have an apache 3 channel helicopter.the top blades no longer spin so the helicopter just spins clockwise very quickly

Same problem I had. There are two motors. One to spin the top blade and a second to spin the bottom. My motor was defective out of the box to spin the top blade. Very poor quality as my AH 64 had a bad circuit board. I had to take parts from one to fix the other.
