Question about Whirlpool Washing Machines
Model number LXR7244JT3 Serv. CR1908878 Whirlpool 2004. 65 to 75% of the time, the machines spin cycle does not rinse on its own. It can be helped to rotate by placing a hand in and pushing it started. It does not completely drain in this stage. When it does spin on its own it drains fine. Could this be a belt issue?
The problem must have been fixed by now.
I think that the problem was not the belt.
If machine does not advance to spin, check the hose attached to drain pump, ensure that drain pump is working, and check or replace pressure switch.
If that does not fix the problem, check the variable speed motor and gear case.
