Replacing the back of a psp

I am trying to replace the front and back cover of my PSP.  I have replaced the front of my sons already, and had no problem.  I purchased a front and back cover for mine off of ebay, and it arrived with no directions.  I have searched the internet and tried to get directions from the individual I bought the cover from, but of course the company or person is in Japan and really didn't help.  I just need help figuring out how to get the back cover off.  HELP!

the instructions I received were helpful, but as I said before, my problem isn't with replacing the front (faceplate). My problem is that I can't figure out how to replace the back plate or panel or whatever it's called. Do you have any instructions on how this is done.
    Thanks again,

My son dropped his psp on the floor!!!

Yes this can be fixed... it sounds as though the LCD screen [the screen on the inside] has become damaged with the fall. The following website sells the LCDs and does replacements. The cost depends on the model of the PSP that you own. You can find the model number of your PSP on a label inside the back of the PSP if you remove the battery. Check them out:

you should not tamper with those dude. better bring it back to where you had your covers changed, they might have missed on some things in reinstalling the covers.

He probably droped it. The PSP slims are very sensitive. You should buy a case for it as soon as possible.

Psp will not turn on unless the cord is plugged in

ok your son's psp has malfunctioned and instead of trying to charge the batteries it drained them. i would recomend for u to get ur son a new psp and buy a another battery for your daughter.

there is a newer battery being sold that you put AA batteries inside
