This afternoon as we were watching our 42" LG plasma TV there was this cracking sound from the back of the TV then we got a dark shadowy picture but sound still perfect. What is going on with our LG plasma tv that' s NOT even 2.5 years old?

go to the menu and see if the set is set to high power, if so change to low power , it may make a difference ...rob
