SOURCE: Kenmore he2 electric dryer

The lent sensor is either dirty or is bad. It could also be the control board that is faulty as well. Unless you know electronics and have the proper testing tools, I would recommend calling a service professional. Hope this helps and that you have a fantastic weekend.

The control board has detected an error. Press any button to wake the machine then wait for 5 seconds. Press and hold the START/PAUSE and CANCEL buttons simultaneously then the failure code will appear in the display as an "E" followed by two numbers, a number and a letter or two letters as long as the buttons are held. The control will beep and the Door Lock, Wash, Rinse, and Final Spin indicator lights will flash. Post back the code for further advice.

Just bought a new cuisinart coffee maker and no book came with it. I need to know how to program the coffee maker.

Hi,

  1. Setting the time
  • When the machine is plugged in, the screen will display 12:00.
  • Press and hold the "HR" and "MIN" button until the numbers flash.
  • Then press the "HR and "MIN" button to scroll through the numbers. When the numbers stop flashing, the time has been set.
CAUTION! When you pass the number 12, the letters "PM" appear to indicate the time between 12 noon and 12 midnight. When these letters do not appear, the time corresponds to the morning hours, from midnight to noon. Always make sure the hour is set according to the correct period so that programming is correct.
  • 2 Programming the start time
  • Press and hold the "PROG" button. The numbers and the indicator light flash.
  • Press "HR" and "MIN" in the same way to set the hour to the desired start time for the cycle. When the numbers stop flashing, the programmed time is set.
CAUTION! Programming the start time is not possible when the coffee maker is running.

Hope this will help you.

Best regards

Error code DR

Pull the tech sheet out of the dryer ( behind the lower front access panal ). The lights flashing are trying to tell you a fault code.

A copy:

MODEL DIFFERENCES: • Better models have a digital readout display
• Good models do not have a digital readout display
READING ERROR CODES 1. Position cycle selector knob to the 3 O’clock position.
2. Press and hold the Select and Pause Cancel buttons simultaneously for six seconds.
3. Immediately after, press and hold the START and Pause Cancel buttons simultaneously for 4 seconds.
4. Rotate the cycle selector knob to the 2 O’clock position.
On better model dryers, the error code will appear in the digital display. On good models, the five indicator lights of
Drying, Cool Down, Wrinkle Rid, and Clean Lint Filter Spin will flash the number of times for the first digit of the code
and the START indicator light will flash the number of times for the second digit. Take separate counts of each indicator
light, then repeat to confirm in order to be accurate in identifying the proper error code. The code is obtained by counting
the number of times the lights flash. Example E24: The five indicator lights would flash twice indicating the 2 and the
START indicator light will flash four times indicating the 4. The five indicator lights and the START indicator light start
flashing at the same time. The control will pause for 2 seconds, then repeat the code.
Note: A letter appearing in the code stands for a number higher than nine.
A = 10 B = 11 C = 12 D = 13 E = 14 F = 15
Example Code E4A: the first digit would be 4 and the second digit would be 10. If this code would appear on a dryer in
the Good model line, the five indicator lights would blink four times and the START indicator light would blink ten times.
Troubleshoot problem by using chart below.
To move on to the next code, press the OPTIONS button. To clear code, press the Select button.
To exit this mode, simultaneously press and hold the Select and Pause Cancel buttons for six seconds.

3 beeps mean what

If the only thing that happens is three rapid beeps when you select a feature from the console this is usually a symptom of a defective door switch.  The door switch must be closed to complete the circuit from the timer to the heating circuit and drive motor.  If the switch is bad, or the wiring is broken, the dryer will not run.
