Scanner trouble

It sounds like you have lost the port settings. Most registers have to have the scanner port (socket) set in programming so the register knows which device you are using. I haven't worked with this model but if you need a manual, one of the users has a Royal 9155SC manual here:

Royal 9500ml screen is blank

It sounds like you have a faulty LCD display unit. get it checked. It is almost certainly nothing to do with memory. It would be best to get your products backed up before the repair is attempted.

When I plug it in the screen shows EEE, and beeps continually. It is around 65 degrees in the area. Nothing clears it or stops the beeping. It worked great yesterday.

Hi,

The error code E:EE means the breadmaker thinks the temperature is too cool i.e below 59 degrees F or 15 degrees Celsius.
As you say the temperature is actually 65 degrees - then this means that the temperature sensor on the Bread maker has failed and will need to be replaced.

The EEE code and beeping will continue until the failed sensor is replaced and as this is a component failure it cannot be reset unfortunately.

Thanks for using FixYa.
