Question about Frigidaire FGF326AS Gas Kitchen Range
My oven doesn't start heating up unless I turn the knob all the way to Broil, then wait until it gets really hot and turn it down to the temperature I need.
In addition to not starting, the temperature seems to be off: sometimes things will bake or roast really really slow, other times very fast (so it doesn't cook on this inside).
About a year after I got it, the glass oven door sponatneously shattered while baking cookies! (Luckily, no one was standing in front of it). Could this happen again, or was that just a fluke?
This is your igniting bar it regulates the gas and the start up of the oven. It is at the bottom of the inside of your stove and if you take off the cover you will see it. It is rectangular and when you try to start up the oven it glows orange. Change this and it should work fine.
