Your best bet would be to unistall the camera and reinstall it.

ONLY DO THIS IF YOU HAVE THE SOFTWARE TO REINSTALL the camera or it is a plug and play

right click on my computer go to the hardware tab, then device manager.

your camera should be under storage volumes or imaging devices.

LOCATE it click on it and choose unistall. It will unistall the camera. Reboot and then re-install your camera from the disc that came with it.

And then it should work.

Is it possible to have an iconI love your puzzles -I would like an Icon on my desk so that I wouldn't havehe address everytime I play - I've tried but can't

If you mean a link to a website address on your desktop, then right click on the desktop, point the mouse to "new" and wait for the submenu, and select "shortcut". It will ask you for an address or location. Enter, or copy and paste the website address that you want the icon to link to and press return. Next it will ask you to name it.....type in whatever you want the icons caption to be, and press return. That should put your new icon on the desktop. Test it to make sure it works. Hope this helps.

Just bought a ASUS 1015 peb netbook- also have a phone router with iwi-fi-cannot figure out how to connect it to the netbook

if you have a built in wifi adapter, open your network connections icon in the control panel with a right click and send a short cut to your desk top, youll probably be using this short cut a couple of times. then left double click on the desk top network connections icon to open it.you should see all the devices in use on your laptop including your wifi adapter if you have one. right click on your wifi adapter, it should have a red x thru it. scoll to properties at the bottom, click on it it will open up the wireless properties. if windows is configuring your adapter youll see a connections tab in the center, click that and the big box at the bottom youll see a add button. click that add your wifi routers info there. if theres no connections tab go to programs and locate the utility for your wifi adaptor because your utility is controlling the wifi. open the utility, add the wifi router info as before when related to windows configuration. you should be good to go.

I could not get my sylvania netbook to connect to my wifi so i download the update from their website to a SD card then opened on the netbook and it deleted everything on the netbook. how can i restore it...

I do not know why your icons disappeared by running the Download, but your programs are still in the on board ROM memory and what you are missing are your desk top icons. I have tried to duplicate your download problem but so far have not been able. I know that using a SD card will not download a usuable file so I used a thumb drive.

Any way please read the following solution that I wrote to another poster.

If you have deleted the icons for those programs on your desk top, then they may be in your Recycle trash bin. double click on Recycle Bin look for the icon for recorder, right click on recorder and select restore. You really cannot delete the programs from your machine as they are retained in a ROM chip , hard coded into the chip and are loaded each time you cut your machine on. The only thing you can do is delete the icons on the desktop, which are sent to the recycle bin.
To retore the machine to factory settings, there is a small hole just about an inch down from the data plate on the back. Using a pencil point or a straightened paper clip, insert the bject into the hole and hold for about 5 seconds. Your deleted icons are not replaced.
A second method to restore your icon is to click on my computer right click on the recorder, select copy, dismiss my computer, find a blank spot on your desktop and right click on that spot, select paste, and a dos type icon appears as your recorder button. When you cut the machine of and back on the Dos type icon is replaced with a CE type icon
To restore all icons:
You can: If you can click on start, click on run, type desk top into the open space and ok it. your icons should be shown. you will have to copy and paste each one back to your desk top, or select edit and then select select all, then click on file, select send to, and select desk top as short cut. I AM UNABLE TO ACCESS INTERNET THRU MY HYBRID APPLE MAC DESK TOP-

Go into network set up a shared Internet connection using ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) You can use Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) to share an Internet connection among two or more computers on a network. First, you need one computer, called the host computer, that is connected to the Internet and that has a separate connection to the other computers on your network. You enable ICS on the Internet connection. The other computers on your network then connect to the host computer, and from there to the Internet through the host computer's shared Internet connection.
If your computer is connected to a network, network policy settings might prevent you from completing these steps.
On the host computer (the computer whose Internet connection you plan to share):
  1. ?id=microsoft.windows.resources.shellexecutetopiciconClick to open Network Connections.
  2. Right-click the connection that you want to share, and then click Properties.getcontent.aspx?assetid=18abb370-ac1e-4b6b-b663-e028a75bf05b&documentset=en-us&renderkey=signed1 If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
  3. Click the Sharing tab, and then select the Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s Internet connection check box.
