Question about Washing Machines
After filling up with water and it goes to agitate the agitator agitates, but the tub spins round and round. In the past it would spin round and round and then in a couple of seconds, you hear like a clunk and the starts agitating like it's supposed to. It will agitate like should for may 3 loads and then it starts spinning round again. Can you help? Same exact problem except it won't kick in at all.
There is a clutch which is mechanically engaged to stop the drum during agitation.
If the location pin is worn or bent it fails to engage and the machine tries to wash and spin at the same time.
Only solution is to call for a man who can fit a new clutch assy
