Seems like the digitizer isn't working anymore u may wanna get ur tablet examined but to quickly turn off some tablets is to press and hold the power key till it shuts off and not lock the screen
There usually is a reset pinhole where a straightened paper clip can be inserted to press an internal switch. this hole is usually on the edge. press and hold the switch for up to 10 seconds lightly. then the ereader should restart
Here is how you fix this problem: Hold both the power button AND the volume UP button down at the same time for about 5-10 seconds it should restart. You don't lose any info doing this.
Update your firmware by using your sd card... place sd card in compurter...Go to galaxy website download firmware to your sd card then follow direction from website how to start the download on your galaxy.Good luck
