Paper Jams are routinely caused by bad roller in the printer. The Heat of laser printers can render these rubber roller pretty useless in a couple of years or less if you print often. If you have recently replaced the drum (according to the recommended print output number), Then If an $80 dollar roller + labor is worth it to you, go for it, otherwise buy a new printer and Brother gives the best ink value per page. hope this helps.
Either lift the lid lay the paper in print side down, or put it into the document feeder print side up. In either case the top edge of the page should be at your left to appear right-side up at the receiving, but that's a minor point.
The back door is a double door. Inside the gray door is a black plastic paper guide that hinges down, also. Mounted on the inside of that is a thin, black rod, leading to a lever on your right, that swings through a slot in the side of the machine. Sometimes the lever gets bent so it doesn't fit into that curved slot. If that's your situation, gently force it back into the slot so it can block the sensor that tells it the back door is closed, and you'll be printing again.
Open the front cover and try to pull it out strongly.
then use the duster to clean the machine.
then you should able to replace your cartridge easily next time.
mightbe too dirty or you use ODM toner? if yes that's the problem issued from.
