The spooler has turned off ... how can I turn it on so I can reload my printer??

Go to Administrative Tools > Services and make sure print spooler is set to automatic and is turned on. If it's a Lexmark printer, the service LexBce also should be set to automatic and turned on

Both power & feed lights flash

Information gathered: Basically the printer carrier has stalled.
Lexmark documentation states that you should turn off your printer and wait a few seconds and turn the printer back on.
Restarting the spooler will sometimes do the trick as well.
Go to start, run
type: <cmd> without <>
Command prompt will open up.
Type: net stop spooler
The spooler will say it stopped successfully.
Type net start spooler
The spooler will say it started successfully.
Hope this helps!

X3470 printer installation

One of the most possible reason is related to Print Spooler service. Please check the "Print Spooler" service if its turned on. if its not you can turn it on. Here is the way to go Services screen
  • go to start menu then run and type "services.msc" then hit enter
  • locate the Print Spooler service in the services list
  • Change turn it on  switch to Automatic mode
Try reinstall
Good Luck
