If No sound

If Bad sound
Try this solution :

- Check the audio connectors. Make sure they are in the right jacks and free from damage.
- Run SFC.
- Enable or disable digital sound playback in the sound card properties in Device Manager.
- Check to see if the sound card is next to the video card. If so, try separating them.
- Reinstall the sound driver.
- Check for a BIOS update. Some BIOS updates allow a computer to run cooler, especially laptops.

You can install your sound card from the mainboard cd that came with your laptop or computer.

go to control panel-sound-default audio device & check which device is enabled as default device. In case of HD audio remove the speaker jack & reinsert, if that port is selected as default audio then you should get an immediate message saying 'audio jack plugged in'.

Iam not getting sound in my powerpoint presentation! my sound option is not seen!

Make sure you have audio drivers installed on your computer you can tell by right clicking my computer and selecting manage. When the computer management window appears click device manager on the left side pane. Look for any unknown devices on the right side pane. You'll have to go to your computers manufacturers website to find the drivers, the easiest way to find their driver download page would be to google the manufacturer name and drivers "dell drivers" then its just finding your specific model through their website, select your OS and download the driver they have listed for audio and install after download.

How to i instal sound drive for my pc?

1. Power on your computer. Ensure that there is a sound device installed on your computer. You can locate your sound device by right clicking on "My Computer." Click "Properties." Select "Device Manager." Click on "Sound." Your sound device should be listed. If there is no sound device listed, you will have to purchase and install a sound device before proceeding.

2. Insert the CD or floppy disk that contains the drivers for your sound device into your computer's CD-ROM or floppy disk drive. If you do not have the CD or floppy disk that contains the sound device drivers, there are websites such as Driver Guide and NoDevice that will allow you to download the drivers online for free.

3. Click on "Install Drivers." The sound device drivers will then be installed onto your computer. It may be necessary to restart your computer once the installation is complete.

4. Open your media player and play an audio file to ensure that your sound device drivers were installed successfully.

No sounds

Click on Start --> Control Panel --> Sounds, Speeches and Audio Devices

On the computer's native volume control, make sure nothing is muted.

If you have a sound card installed, reinstall the installation CD that came with it. If you no longer have the CD, go to the manufacturer's website and get the software from their website.

In many cases, when you go to "Sounds, Speeches, and Audio Devices," you can look for a particular item that has a yellow exclamation point beside it, and tell Windows to reinstall any missing drivers.
