Can I use any 14 inch replacement blade or do I have to use the Remington 14SC only? If so what is a decent brand? If not where could I purchase the 14SC as the Remington web page does not have any available. please help.

I would imagine the leg of the chainsaw would have a size on it as well as the chain themselves , remington would probably buy in the leg and chain part from other suppliers anyway , so just check out the size of any other 14 inch chainsaw and compare with yours . it would probably be only the groove width that would have the real impact on whether it is suitable or not , maybe take the chain off and take it to a mower shop or hardware shop hope this helps

Make sure that the blade your going to replace it with looks VERY similar, if the replacement blade has a deeper cutting depth than the original, your going to notice alot of stalling while cutting, due to the fact the blade is trying to remove more wood per tooth, than the electric motor can handle.

I have a 16 inch chain saw and want to buy a new chain saw blade does anyone know what other manufacturer's blade will fit

Oregon mfg. makes a full line of replacement chains and bars (blade). Check with home centers, hardware stores, and saw dealers. Bring full details of the saw with you, or the saw itself. Good luck!

Good news Victor;
Both a bar and 3 different chains are available through an Oregon dealer. The green chain (hover the cursor over the color and there is an explanation) is most likely what your saw came fitted with but all will work, the choice is yours.

How do I tighten the chain on my Remington 14 in. 2 hp electric chain saw? Have used tightening screw, does do anything. Loosened the blade bolts trying to move the blade out slightly. Doesn't work...

Mitch if you attempted what is in the manual, and it is not working we would have to see and touch the saw to determine what has failed. If you loosened the bar bolts before trying the adjuster and it did not work, I suggest a trip to a local saw shop.

I need a new 10 inch blade

A new chain can be fabricated by a local chainsaw shop. A new bar requires a model number to answer, a make couldn't hurt. Tag; you're it.
