Re: locked

That happened to mine too.  There is a little button that says "hold" on the opposite side from the "menu" and "volume" controls.  Slide the "hold" button to the other end back toward the "mic" and it should unlock it.

It only lets me listen to music in one ear

  • If you have a warranty I would definitely send it back to the manufacturer. Most companies will pay for shipping for warranty repairs as well. What sounds like has happened happens a lot. The plug the jack plugs into (inside the Mp3 player) gets a cold soldier joint or the jack on the ear buds gets caught on something one to many times and breaks a soldier joint loose.

  • I usually open the media players and reheat the soldier joints myself. If you have already tried a different pair of ear buds it is almost certainly the jack inside the MP3.

  • Hope this helps.

I can't hear any music

Does the player show the time for the song ticking down as if it is playing? Try some new or different ear buds or hook it up to your computer speakers.

Mp3 was working, then it stopped

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.

Delete songs

You will probably have to do this through your computer. Hook the device to your computer and open it through "My Computer" and click the external harddrive device. Open the song folder and delete off the songs you dont want. After unhooking your device from the computer you should find those songs are now deleted.
