How to fix canon iR2016J copier paper jam with this orange light warning which does turns anytime the ''paper jam message appears on the LCD screen?

A warning for a paper jam will be displayed, when at least one of the sensors does not register the expected movement.
Could be caused by a paper that won't come out. Could be anywhere in the printer, but also by a dirty or defective sensor.
That is why a service engineer must know where all sensors are, to check them.
After removing the "jam" the printer must know something changed, By again a sensor noticing a door was opened and closed (to clear the jam in that area of the sensor) or by switching of an on again.
Please check the whole printer if all sensors are free and clean. Then switch of an on again. If nothing helps you should call a service centre close to you.

Paper jam warning. I cannot find any paper in

Hello,

Please try to turn off your printer and unplug all the connection in the printer from its power down to its usb or parrallel connection. And let it up to 30 minutes to unplug and turn off. This process is letting your printer reset it self and loading its default and original settings. Usually it loads it original settings. After 30 minutes please plug all the connection of the printer and then turn the printer on and test the printer by printing a document or any files you want to print. Please observe what is the result.

Thanks

Paper jam warning icon flashes but there is no paper jam.

Well I would take a can of air and blow off the sensors, especially where you began to have problems. The sensors (over time) become coated with paper dust and now reflect back on themselves thinking there is paper there all them time. From your description of the problem, it seems like the issue-intermitten jams/intermitten false jams, until a total false jam.
