You can download a trial version of Adobe products - including Photoshop - straight from the Adobe website. You can try most products for 30 days without any cost; if you desire to continue using the product after 30 days you will have to purchase a license. If you are a student, you can obtain a significant discount on Photoshop by purchasing from an academic software reseller like Academic Superstore.

- Unfortunately, Photoshop is commercial software, and there is no way around paying for it. However, there are alternative software packages that are free, such as GIMP: http://www.gimp.org/
