Question about Samsung ML 1710 Laser Printer
Above printer has worked with no problems for a couple of years. Has recently started to refuse to print any but the first page of documents. Prints first page normally and then the Online/error light turns red. If the paper tray is opened and shut again, it will print the next page - and then stop again.
Any help in resolving this would be much appreciated
I'm thinking it's a config-related problem. i've seen a comparable problem already. could you check the settings in the printer software? there is setting that says "print first page from different tray" if its box is checked, the printer wants to print the rest of the print job from another tray, and will block when there is no other tray available.
if you find this setting is not marked, then i propose to delete the printer driver and all settings and then downloading the most recent driver from the manufacturer's website and installing that one.
