Question about NetGear DG834G Router
My Netgear Router has ceased to function. The power supply is connected but none of the LEDs are lit. I just wanted to check if there was anything I could do before I sent it back etc.
You could check the power pack with a voltmeter to see if its putting out any power. Another not fully conclusive test is to feel if the power pack is putting out any heat if it's not it "may" be toast. You can get these quite cheaply. If you get a replacement make sure it has power going to the center pin and ground to the outside and also make sure the voltage is the same and the current rating is no "less" (yes it can be higher) than the original.
