No reception with rabbit ears

Check to see if you have the "Rabbit ears" plugged into the correct spot and you are on "Analog tv" if you are trying to use digital tv on "Rabbit ears" it can't send out a strong signal like the areal ontop of a house. You may need to get an adapter to broadcast a stronger signal but even better if you can connect to roof antena.

How do i use the built in antena on my tv?

Be sure you are tuned into 'over the air' signal. I would guess you are asking about the rabbit ears. Also there is a cable setting and satellite setting. Hope this will give a good start to watching over the air programing!

Digital Converter connection with old Rabbit Ears TV

First, make sure your connections are right. The rabbit ears need to be disconnected from the TV and reconnected to the converter box. Then the output cable from the converter box connects to the TV. Then try turning the rabbit ears or re-locating them near a window if the wire is long enough. You should be able to get some signal. A newer indoor antenna may help you pull in some of the weaker stations.

Analog or dtv

Hi, This tv has an NSTC tuner which is analog. If you subscribe to cable or satellite it will work just fine without you having to do anything for the upcoming change. However if you are using your own outside antenna or rabbit ears you will need a converter. Hope this helps.

Do I need an antena in order to use the new black box with my TV?

Yes, you need an antenna. Any set of rabbit ears will do. Don't pay extra for a "HDTV" antenna, there is no difference in the antenna for a digital or analog signal.

Sanyo dvw 5000 setup

If you rabit ears have a ribbon cable you will need a coax adaptor. Radio Shack carries them. If you cant find them, you might have to get a set of rabit ears that has coax wires. The antenna will plug into the cable in of the DVR. You take the coax output and plug that into the tv using a coax wire.
