Locked Tv blue screen with Lock icon lower left corner

I have a GPX 13 In tv-dvd combo   Crayola style for kids,  YCTVD1316  I cannot find this model anywhere on the net, nor an instruction manual.  I just purchased it in August online. It worked fine for about 1 month.  My 2 year son must have pushed some buttons and now the tv is locked and useless. No functions work, except on & off to the blue screen with the lock icon.  Any help or Ideas?  The gpx site doesn't even list the tv as one of their products.  it has a button called v-chip and I have no idea what that is for.

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

Usually kids tv's in bedrooms collect more dust than downstairs.
The laser probably needs cleaning with a special disc or stripping down and doing properly

Tv dvd combo locked

Press the DIS button (should be the orange one) on the remote for five seconds. That's how it got locked in the first place :)

Mine says 'Lock' / 'Unlock' when I do it, no key symbol.
