Hi, with my own Foxconn mobo [661FX7MI] I had to run the installation disk that came with the motherboard and reinstall the AGP driver. Then run the AGP card driver [ATI]  disk.

I have a Dell Dimension 2400 desktop. It needs a monitor. I tried new ones from Best Buy and Office Max but they say no signal when I hook them up..I tried this computer with monitor in the following

Thank you for replying,
As per the diagnostic LED's, it is an issue with Video initialization failure. Your computer has onboard Graphics which is built into the Motherboard.
Video Initialization failure could happen if there is :
Unseated AGP card
Bad AGP card
Bad motherboard

As per your Svc Tag your system doesn't have AGP Graphics Card, Probable issue with MOBO.
This computer doesn't have a AGP Slot (Graphics Card Slot) to try connecting Graphics Card.
Need to repair/replace MOBO.

I bought Foxconn 755A01-6EKRS Motherboard for my HP pc replacement. i install my AGP VsionTek x1300 graphic card and turn it on and nothing show up on screen...then i put the graphic card back to my old HP...

Your new Foxconn motherboard Primary Graphics Adapter settings in set to onboard vga that is why there is no display in your monitor. Do not install yet your agp video card. Use first the onboard vga of the motherboard.
Power up your computer and go to the BIOS settings. Locate in bios about the Primary Graphics Adapter settings and then select AGP. Save changes and the exit. Turn off your computer and now install the agp video card.

You have an AGP expansion slot for a graphics card.
(Accelerated Graphics Port)
It uses either 1x, 2X, or 4X graphics cards. Since the only AGP graphics cards out there are 4X or 8X, the 1X, and 2X are moot points. (They were also Junk anyway!)

Your AGP graphics slot only supports AGP graphics cards that are 1.5 volts. There are AGP graphics cards out there, that are Universal. Universal in that they will run as AGP 8X, (.8 volts), or AGP 4X, (1.5 volts)

This is an example:

Don't expect to play the high end new intense games with this. I'm afraid you'll have to update your motherboard, processor, ram memory, and a better graphics card to do that.

(Example? XFX Nvidia nForce 680i LT SLI motherboard, Intel Core2 Duo E8200 cpu, Corsair XMS2 PC6400 ram memory, 1GB x2 of them, (DDR2 at 800MHz), and XFX Geforce 9800GTX+, vid card. (Plus OCZ SteathXStream 600W power supply)
This won't break the bank, and will slam some games to the wall!)

Ny foxconn mb doesnot connect with agp video card

If your model number posted is correct, the reason your motherboard won't connect to an agp video card is because it doesn't support agp. The Foxconn 915P7AC-8KS uses PCIe for the video bus, so you would need to use a PCIe video card. (PCIe means PCI express, specifically PCIeX16 is the form factor that you would need.) Hope that this helps.

You're board does not use an integrated graphics card.
Monitor does not have video display. There can only be four reasons why.
1. The monitor's video cable is not connected correctly at each end (Video card & Monitor) or cable is bad.
2. The monitor’s power cord is not plugged into a good power source or cable is bad.
3. The monitor may be bad.
4. * The AGP graphics card is either not seated correctly in its AGP slot, (remove/clean copper contacts with alcohol/allow to dry & reseat snuggly), or graphic's card is bad.
Monitor’s power cord can be switched with the PC's power cord.
The video cable & monitor can be swapped by borrowing from a friend.
(Just make sure their stuff is working first).
Never open the PC case without unplugging the power cord first.

No Video Output

Do you get any picture at all?

Can you press the F1 key or DELETE key and bring up the Setup menu? Can you see it?

If you can't see the above, it sounds like someone was not grounded to the computer case when they installed the new motherboard. Static electricy is the #1 killer to all electronics. If this is the case, you will have to buy an aftermarket video card and install it to see anything.

The VGA monitor will work with any video cards on the market.

If the motherboard said that it uses an AGP video card. That is the only one it will use. Make sure the card matches the motherboard or it will not work. All video cards are marked on the outside top of the box and your motherboard is maked by the AGP slot. Make sure you get the right speed format also. 8X will only work with a 8X.

I hope this helps and I will check back later to see how you made out.

sounds like 8x agp. go to new good deals on vid cards there. unfortunately for you the agp doesent get into the higher end video cards. nor does the standard pci. the transfer rates just aren't fast enough. but unless you are doing serious gaming either pci or agp will give you about the same frame rates.

Display of vga card which is AGP Socket

It is unlikely that the floppy took out the agp display controller,
I assume that you have no video when the computer startsup also.
But if that is the case you can use a PCI video card.
Are the fans and hard drive running?
When you were in the case replacing the floppy did you make sure that nothing else was disturbed and were wearing an antistatic strap?
I would go over all of the wires inside.
Please let me know how you make out.
