I think the best solution would be to get a new mouse and see if that has the same issues if it does not, it is your mouse. If it is it could be a number of things... faulty mouse software (easily fixable),driver problems, or it may even require you reformat your entire computer, depending on where the source of the problem is. Try a new mouse first and keep me posted...gl

Hi

yes only connect the USB port to the computer, this should stop Windows from seeing both a USB mouse and a PS/2 mouse.

Also make sure that you are not using it on Glass or another surface that could cause the mouse to jump.

Put a blank white piece of paper under it and try it

Let me know if it works for you!

Hi! I think youre probably having a jumping cursor where the cursor jumps from one place to another while typing an email or something. You may got to control panel - hardware - mouse then look for the check box that you can tick on that says "Tap off while typing" and this should fix the problem. Thanks for visiting FixYa.com!

I want to add a second hard drive (SATA) to a Dell insperon 530. Where does it connect to the motherboard?

Every SATA enabled motherboard has atleast 2 SATA ports. Trace the first SATA cable and you'll find another port closer. If your Optical drive is connected to it, and if you can find an IDE port on your motherboard, buy an IDE to SATA convertor and plug it in.

While typing on my laptop, my cursor jumps to other places on the page, then types where the cursor has moved to . I don't use a mouse.

Hi,
I guess the 'other places of the pages' is mostly the beginning of the line? It usually happens when the key stroke is not proper while using combination keys. Or also it happens when if you dont release a key when you press the next in between your speedy typings.

uncheck "Automatically move pointer to the default button..."

TouchPad:
Right-click [My Computer]
[Manage]
[Device Manager]
open the +Mice and other pointing devices
Right-click on your touchpad entry (if you can't tell which one, pick one - no harm will come)

Problem printing from Dell Inspiron 1720 with Vista Home Premium to Epson Stylus Colour 1160 using Nikkai USB to Parallel Convertor. Cable supposed to be plug and play. Any pointers?

You pretty much said it when you mentioned "Other than buying the cable in the first place" I have never successfully used a USB to parallel converter cable on any system. My suggestion, asisde from getting a true USB printer, is a parallel port card

Dell Inspiron 2200 to Phillips 47 " TV

check this out http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview/id/762913.html *A VGA connector and cable are used to carry analog video signals plus display and graphics data. The VGA is a 15-pin connector commonly found on laptops and other devices. With this port you need a PC-to-TV Convertor to connect laptop to TV. You simply plug the VGA cable from the source into the convertor, and use an S-Video or RCA cable out to the TV. The converter is USB powered, so there’s no external power adapter to carry around, making this laptop to TV connection entirely portable. you will need a seperate audio cable unless you are going to use your laptop's speakers
