Question about 2wire (1000-400108-001) Router
I have had computer and netgear set up the same way for nearly 2 years and now i get an orange flashing light on the router and it won't conect to internet also can not use house phone as the crackling is so bad i can't hear who ever is on other end BT have checked line and box in house no fault found also contacted AOL and they said if i used extention cable this would be cause but i don't and they also said if i use a digital phone this would cause this problem also which I don't understand as i have not changed any off the origanal equipment???? please help i'm confussed
Have you had any lightning storms, it sounds to me that the Router is faulty, Power spikes and surges can also cause this, I suggest you test is with another router....
