Question about Asko W6021 Front Load Washer

Asko W6021 keeps filling with water

Hi, this just happened yesterday, almost 30mins to the end of the wash, it's stuck at "water keeps filling the tub".

I turned the power off and water is still coming into the tub.  Guess it could be a valve problem or something? i don't know, taking a wild guess.

I finally had to turn the water hose off and drain the tub.  Once I turn the hose back on, water is filling the tub again whether or not the machine is on or off.

Please let me know if you have a solution

Asko W6021 would not fill with water

Our W6021 front has had a couple of instances where it would not start the fill cycle as usual. Normally it would be switched on,the relay would operate and the water would begin to enter the bowl. We tried a number of things including checking the hose and inlet filter for blockage. We then checked the outlet drain pump trap and found a coin and a drill bit lodged in the entry hole to the trap. Once the foreign objects were removed ,the machine operated as normal once again. I will be very careful in future to empty my pockets of metal things.

Asko W6021 won't fill. It clicks and starts, but no water fills drum. I've cleaned drain trap but don't know how to clean inlet filter as suggested in manual.

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
The water inlet filters are inside where the hot and cold water supply hoses screw into the machine. Turn the water off, unscrew the hoses and they should be visible. However it might not be those causing the machine not to fill. If they needed cleaning the water would fill- but taking longer each wash.
If you confirm the filters are clear, it is more likely to be symptomatic of a malfunctioning water control valve- the hot water one, if the washer is hot and cold fill, or the cold one if it is just cold fill!
Sorry but it needs replacing and a service call ;-0(
Good luck,
John C

I have an ASKO W6021 Quattro 1200 RPM. It does not complete the wash cycle. If I turn the know to rinse, it does rinse and completes. I tried it without any clothes in it and it does the same thing. I also...

Check that the cold water is turned on. The washing machine uses cold water to rinse, and if the cold water is not on, unit will end without completing cycle.

Lost water pressure temporarily, now water valve will not shut off in between wash cycles. broken valve? replace? reboot??

You will probably have to replace the fill valve. when you lost then regained water pressure debris must have gotten into fill valve not allowing it to seat properly and shut off the water flow

Hi the machine wont drain and door wont open

this is usually a drain pump tha has something stuck in it and will not allow the water to drain out.use a shop vac and put it on the end of the drain hose to drain any left over wat the check th pump for a foreign object and remove this should solve your problem.
