Question about Proscan PS36125 36" TV

1 Answer

Proscan video problem

I have the PS36125 (about 9 yrs old) and lately it's been acting funny with the video. The screen starts with snow and then gets worse with added loud crunching and crackling. If I go to the back and wiggle the coax or RCA jacks, it stops but then starts again. As the TV warms up it seems to get better and eventually stops doing it. This happens every time we turn the tv on. Actually there is an occasion that it doesn't do it.

If the washer is making a loud noise the tub bearing might need to be replaced. This is a very involved repair and will require disassembling most of the washer. The manufacturer recommends that if possible the complete outer tub and bearing be replaced rather than attempting to replace just the bearing in the tub. If the bearing is bad the problem is going to get worse very quickly and so either the drum and bearing will need to be replaced or the washing machine

Check if your fridge has a condenser fanmotor, it could be bad and needs replacing. Use a vacuum cleaner to clean the dust off the condenser coils.

Problems with intermittent green snow

Looks like green horizontal lines, this is definately some type of filter problem. Looks like in the HV or Horizontal are. It first looks like turner problems but you say it's on all inputs. Then if that's correct it's not the tuner.
