Question about Sewing Machines
I bought and old (1950's?) sewing machine in its desk at a flea market today for $10.00. It is a Dominion model DeLuxe but I have been unable to find an online source for a manual for it. Does anyone know of a resource for a free manual? Dominion doesn't seem to have a website although they seem to still be in business.
I think that the key to finding the right manual isn't going to be the name Dominon, but rather the name DeLuxe, a conglomerate of Japanese made 'badged' machines. Some of the names that you see badged by DeLuxe are Remington, Dominion, Dressmaker, etc. You may be able to find a compatible manual for your machine, by comparing it to the pictures at: http://www.sewusa.com/Sewing_Machine_Manuals/Deluxe_ZigZag_Sewing_Machines.htm Also, the folks at the yahoo group "vintagejapansewingmachines" would be able to help you out. Hope you're sewing soon!

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
