Printer did not work property

I have downloaded of driver printer but I still can not printing, scanning and copying. How to solve problems?

First of all you check the printer connections and then you check the power chord,data cable to the printer are working fine
you must see that you are installing the right driver software for your printer,before installing the printer see that you have uninstalled any wrong printer drivers previously installed

Try uninstalling, then installing the driver fresh. NOT an update. You could also have a bad printer cable, borrow one from a friend. No sense buying one as almost all new printers come with one!

Solved! I now can scan wirelessly throughout my network. I downloaded the drivers for a friends newer HP all-in-one scanner and I can scan. Look for the driver for the 309a series of printers and install it. Complete the install and set up your existing printer. You can now scan, print, fax wirelessly. It includes updated HP apps for these functions that work with OS 10.5. I didn't upgrade to the HP 1.1 drivers through Apple. The file name is: PS_AIO_05_C309a_Net_Full_Mac_WW_102.dmg

I've Hp psc 1315 all- in-one. I can print, copy but can't scan. My hp solution center is not working???????????


Probably a driver problem. For Windows XP or earlier, go the HP website and download current driver. For Windows Vista, the driver does not enable scanning. A workaround is to use Paint. To open Paint, select:
All Programs-->Accessories-->Paint
To scan the image, select:
File-->From Scanner or Printer
In the Select Device window, click on the HP printer then click on OK. In the Scan Using HP.... window, select a color option and click Scan. Wait for the image to be scanned in and then use Paint to manipulate the image or save it.

Visat OS . . . print and copy works . . . scanning does not. I've downloaded drivers, etc. nothing works.


if you can copy,then your scanner has no problem,try reinstalling the scanner driver,you can download it from canon website..

Check the properties again, Then try to print a test page.

My hp 1320 prints multiple copies instead of one copy


Go to "printers and faxes."
Right click on your printer and select "Printing preferences."
Select "Advanced" tab
Double click "paper output"
If "Copy count=2" then change to 1 and apply
IF IT ALREADY IS SET TO 1 THEN:
Set "copy count=2" then APPLY
Repeat the above and now set "copy count=1"

The process of setting and resetting the copy count fixed my issues.

Printer will not print document coming from PC


On your WINDOWS desktop, left click the START button. LEFT click on CONTROL PANEL, then left click on PRINTERS. On the PRINTERS screen, check for an icon of your Canon printer. If it is there, right click on it, and from the drop-down menu, left click PROPERTIES. On the PROPERTIES page, check if SET AS DEFAULT is checked. If it is your default printer, left click on the PRINT TEST PAGE button and see if it prints. If not, try following the onscreen instructions to correct the problem. If your Canon printers icon does NOT qppear on the PRINTERS page, the driver is not there, Go to www.usa.canon.com ,and left click on the DOWNLOADS tab. Follow the onscreen instructions and download and install the driver. You may have to do this on both computers, or set up one computer to SHARE the Canon with the other. Follow the INSTALL WIZARD'S instrictions, and you should then be able to print again.

Iam very frustrated . i download my printer onto my computer. if u print a test page it works. if u go into the proterties or wherever and press test page, it reads. but if you open the lexmark all in one,...


to solve this problem i think you need to uninstall the printer driver and install again maybe you cannot install property the driver make it sure that the driver you install is including the driver for the scanner. If you downloaded from the internet the driver please if you download driver is the driver only of the printer or full installation including the scanner support.

2 sided printing problem


What driver did you download? The PS driver is much less capable and I am wondering if thats what you downloaded.
I am using the PCL driver and the selections are 1 sided, 2 sided long edge , 2 sided short edge.
Unless you are runnung CAD, you really should be running a PCL driver.
Maybe I am misunderstand what you are telling me also.
If you have the PCL driver and thats still a problem let me know and I will forward all I can find.

Got new computer and now my printer will not scan.


If you cn copy then the Scanner and Printer both are fine. The only thing you are missing is the Scanner driver/utility. Install the same from the Driver Disc you got with the Printer and your problem is solved. If you don't have the same download from the manufacturers site.
