Question about Apple iPhone 3G
I changed the lcd on my 3g iphone and now it wont turn on i no that i did it right bc u can only plug it into one place but anyway itunes will read it like it is on but still nothing on screen and vibration dnt work when i flip the switch even wen itunes is reading it
It's nothing you did it is more than likely the lcd you used is not working in coherence with the phone itself

Yes definitely check if the screen is connected properly, also you can check if it connects to the computer, then it would be on, but it shows nothing on the screen. If after all reconection attempts you still don't get it to turn on It's usually an issue with the logic board, so ultimately if you want to resolve it, the logic board needs to be replaced. There are iPhone Repair guides that show you how.

Maybe you got a dud LCD?
Try telling who ever you bought it from that its installed correctly, but doesn''t work, see if they can help.
Also, on the vinratio issue, maybe the vibration motor wad damaged or disconnectd during assembly or disassembly (not quite sure hwere it is, though, or how easy this is to do). Hope this helps, and good luck. :)
