Re: external graphic card

No, if your notebook has onboard graphics, you can only benefit by fitting more memory, so as the notebook can use the 64mb maximum without stalling your notebook, but the graphics will be no better, unless you have a corrupt driver, you will need to visit the notebooks manufacturer web site for any updates.

Amd graphics drivers

If you mean for the on-board / built in graphics then it should be available on the motherboard manufactures website in the support section.

If you need the graphics driver for a dedicated graphics card that was installed on to the motherboard then you need to know the make and model of the card and check the manufactures website.

Computer hang-up when idle and while on handycafe mode

First, the supplier didn't need to replace the expensive motherboard. They likely did this because the graphics card was built into the motherboard. Rather than installing a video card into its own PCI slot, they got more money out of you by replacing the motherboard with another that had the graphics card built in.
This sounds like a processor issue. Try lowering the screen resolution. Right click an open area of the desktop, select properties, click the display tab. In the lower left of the box there is a settings slider, try lowering the settings and see if it gets better.

My acer 1650 processor is to slow for avchd panasonic hd camera what can i do Piet

In order to use the Computer for graphics intensive work, it's required to have the Computer installed sufficient video RAM. In this case, you may check if the Computer graphics card is upgradable. If not then you may check for the availability of any external graphics card to work with intensive multimedia.

My 530 MT goes through graphics cards.

Def Wouldnt be putting in more cards, there is obviously something wrong. Either your Power supply aint putting out enough power or the pci slot that your cards are getting put into is messed up. First of all run without a graphics card(if u have integrated graphics card). Do some stability test with software like Sandra( If ur pc ran nicely and stable then definately it is a power supply issue.

Sparkle's Link for Product Info is:

Asking which of anything is the best is really a matter of opinion, but as far as the hardware capabilities for an older standard card go, this one has to be as good as it gets. (Actually, I'm a pretty impressed...I didn't know any PCI card could do what this does. Although it won't stand up to the bus speed of a PCIe card, or even an AGP card, if all you have is a PCI slot, this is your card!)

Graphic card

A graphic card or graphic adapter is always present on all computer.

When the computer does not have an external graphic card, the video adapter is integrated on motherboard.

By studing multimedia you may need to use software like macromedia director, or 3D modelling software that use a lot of video ram.

If your computer has an internal video adapter with at least 64MB of video RAM, then you can try using the current video adapter, if it is less, then better buying an AGP graphic card.

Here is some choice.

Intel Pentium Dual Core and AMD Athlon 64 X2 processors

I'd advise don't start thinking below E2180. As per the performance go, E2180 and AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ are almost same but E2180 runs cooler. If you are going to use dedicated graphics card, go for E2180 and if you want a CPU for Integrated Graphics go for AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ because most of the 780G/790X chip-based AMD-compatible boards offer superior IGP.
Best wishes...

Is my main board defective??

Hi, The problem sounds to me like you need to access the bios and make sure the AGP is enabled. If this is enabled then you may need to go to the manufacturers site and download the drivers for your board and operating system. With a P3 you should have no trouble running XP so if you are not using this already then perhaps you need to upgrade as XP has a very good set of drivers built in and will run most video cards and sound cards Regards mistyman
