I have a danby countertop dishwasher model # ddw396w everything is still working fine but the water doesn't drain between cycles or at the end.Not draining.I have cleaned it thoroughly but still nothing Is there a part that i can replace ?Please help [email protected]
This might be to simple but if the pump seems to run then check the tubes for any way that it might be blocked bends, blocks, ect. If the pump is not running, check out Sears Parts Online. They have just about every part for Danby. Put in your model number and choose a sub component with what you need.
Good Luck!

Used the advice from kurtisdigita as well. I couldn't find an easy way to remove the motor without taking apart much more than the main metal wrap-around cover, so I just sprayed the axle areas (behind the white plastic knob) liberally with anti-seize lubricant (basically, it's like WD-40 with graphite). Attached is a picture of the motor.
If you are unable to effect repairs yourself.
Please call our CUSTOMER HELP LINE
"1 800 26 DANBY"
and ask for assistance.
What I wil ask you to do is look for any tape or packing material in the bottom of the unit. If there is any tape on the float or flood sensors it will give you an error.
I note that there is no mention of P2 errors in the user's manual here:

I had the same problem with the dishwasher not draining. I could hear a buzzing sound, which turned out to be the pump motor (left side of the unit) trying to run, but unable to start. When I took the unit apart, I found that I just had to twist the motor fan to free it, and it ran again.
However, I did not want this to keep happening, so I took the pump housing off, as well as the rear bushing mount, and lubricated both motor bushings with an anti-seize lubricant I have, and the motor
runs VERY well now.
This worked for me.i just took it apart and oiled the little motor on the left and WALAH !
Thats right , angels start singing and everything. Hallelujah !
Thanks again to kurtis !
It worked !!!! And just wanted to add
I took off the metal top
I looked under on the left side to find the pump
I took both hoses off the pump and took off the little fan.
i took off the little metal bracket behing the little fan. and unscrewed the little pump to take it out.
the little metal piece that the fan was on wouldn't even move.So i sprayed it down with wd and it started moveing again then a screw fell out.so i found where it went(inside the motor which the fan and metal piece move) got the tweezers and replced it. oiled it some more and put it all back together. Perfect.
