Question about Hampton Bay 24002 Ceiling Fan
My Hampton Bay Ceiling fan fell from the celing a few months ago. The saftey screw wasn't secured properly. Anyhow, when it fell the wires (black, white, black/white) were script down in the hollow downtube inside teh motor, far enough down that i cannot get access to it to try and attach new wires. Other than that the fan is in great shape but couldn't is unusable because of this problem. I disassembled the fan down to the motor itself but the strip wires are encased and I can't get to them. Do you have any advice on how I could access them? Could i get just a replacement motor for my model from the manufacturer? Any information would be greatly appreciated. I can send photos if necessary.
Thanks in advance.
You don't want to mess around with this and risk a fire. It would be best to replace this fan.
