Re: panasonic TX14S2T

What are the symptoms? Is the set dead? Please clarify

model number from back of set...The red power light coming on means the AC fuse is OK, but the B+ fuse may be bad. If that

is true, check the horiz o/p xistor and get back to me....T.

I'm trying to turn on my Panasonic t.v. It stays on for about 5 seconds then turns off by itself. There is also a flashing red light where it says power on the front of the t.v. I'm not able to...

first try to check for the power supply of the TV. the power supply of the TV is located on the place where the main plug of the monitor is connected, check for busted or defective fuse by using a multimeter a defective fuse has no reading on a multimeter. the red line flashes because of a short circuit on the power supply. check for a shorted transistors, diode or maybe a loose connection on the power supply section.may this one help you..

When I plug the tv it won't turn on nor does the

The red light is usually one of the first things that is powered by the power supply of the set. If even this is not working the place to start diagnosis is in the power supply. If you are not a qualified technician taking safety precautions then please refer the repair to a professional TV repair shop.

Panasonic #ct32hc43g; no power when power button pushed(yes its' plugged in and the plug works fine with other electic items )

There are many causes for this set to have no power, if you get no red light at all a common fault is the 6.3 amp main fuse blowing in this set. It is because the timing unit for the degaussing coil has changed over time and is staying on just a little to long causing the fuse to blow. A technician will put a 7 amp fuse in as a replacement, Do not use a fuse of any higher value or you will have a fire hazard. If the 7 amp fuse blows then you either have another power related issue or the timming unit has gone way out of tolarance and need changed.

If you have no experience inside of a tv, and don't understand the hazards of electrical shock even with the tv unplugged i would not attempt to open the set up and do this yourself.
A service call from a technician could run around $100.00.

Tv wont turn on

take your tv to technician who can check your power supply, if your power is coming on and off, than a problem is not as big. firstly let him check a ht of a supply constantly, your supply is cutting.

You'd better make sure that there's no power on in the TV by checking the red light in front of it. If it's sure there's no power when the TV's plugging in the outlet, then the problem may be the fuse.

The GLASS fuse locates right after the power cord where is connected to the TV. Using a screw driver to open the back (make sure the power cord already taken out from the outlet !), try to have the power cord side opened as wide as you can. You can use your finger tip to push straight from bottom to up to take the fuse out. For sure, you can see the fuse having the core disconnected in the middle.

To my case, the fuse was 6.3 Amp and 125 Volt, but I can only get the 6.3 Amp- 250 Volt at my local Radio Shack store. However, it's fine to replace with this higher volt fuse.

It costs about 4 bucks for a bag of 4 glass fuses. Worth to try with the "practice" and for having your TV back on again !

Tv wont turn

replace the AC fuse, a GMA 6.3 amp fuse. I have seen many of these sets where the AC fuse opens for no apparent reason.

TV failure

I would say it is in the power supply circuit. check the 145 v line I do not suspect the problem in the video section. The 145 volts feed to the flyback.
