Inspiron 1525 integrated webcam driver

When I run webcam manager it says it doesn't see a camera. I've uninstalled, reinstalled 3 different drivers with no luck. Can you tell me WHERE the drivers should be installed (i.e., which folder? Dell/Drivers or Drivers/input? Thanks!

The location you download drivers to does not matter, windows installs them to the proper location. Either the cam or the connecting cable has failed.

How to turn on webcam in my dell inspiron 1525. but i have default cam driver installed in os. tell me the solution.

Is the webcam being recognized in Control Panel/Device Manager - under 'Imaging Devices'?
Have you tried reinstalling the webcam drivers/software you might have received with the laptop?
You can download the latest versions from the Inspiron 1525 from this link Drivers and Downloads

The Dell 'Webcam Manager' software is listed under 'Applications', and the drivers are listed under 'Input Device Drivers' (integrated webcam).
Select the appropriate OS version (i.e. Vista 32bit), download and install those two (drivers first)

Note: When you click the respective download links, don't use the Dell Download Manager!! It's known to cause various problems. Use the 'download in internet browser' option instead.

My webcam could not recognized

use your "Utilities and Drivers" DVD that came with computer and reinstall the driver for the integrated webcam. After inserting the DVD, select "Drivers" from the menu and then select the "Input Drivers: Creative Labs....Camera". select this, & a window popped up that says "the necessary drivers are already installed, do I want to reinstall anyway?" and I said "Yes". After reinstallation, my camera started working and I have not been updating drivers.
Before doing this, you may want to go to your "Device Manager" and make sure your camera is "enabled". In my attempts to get my camera working, I saw my camera was disabled, but I don't know why that happened either. Enabling it did not get it working though. Also, before reinstallation of the Input Driver, in Device Manager-Imaging Devices, the camera was showing as "Creative Live! Camera". After reinstalling the driver, under imaging devices "Creative Live! Camera" is there as well as "Integrated Webcam". I thought they were one-in-the-same, but they are showing as two devices.

MY DELL INTEGRATED WEBCAM HAS BEEN WORKING BEAUTIFULLY. BUT NOW, WHEN I'M FILMING, I NOTICE THE FILM SEEMS TO BE SLOWING AND SPEEDING UP SO THAT THE FINAL FILM HAS JUMPS IN IT. IT'S VERY FRUSTRATING.

This can happen for several reasons :
1 - Multiple applications running in the backgroud (Antivirus / Spyware etc...)
2 - Internet activity, slowing the processor.
3 - Lack of space / Poor fragmented drive.
4 - Drivers may be corrupted
Corrective Actions
1 - Close any 'unwanted / redundant applications when playing with videos.
2 - Disconnect ethernet or wireless when creating videos.
3 - Make space on the Harddrive (you will need 'double' the space of the video, as atemprary version is normally created first - A 30minute video ideally will require a minimum of 500meg to 1gig of space just to start with.
4 - Re-install your web-cam drivers
