Question about Canon MP830 All-In-One Printer
Replaced ink tank and got UO 43? Have an MP830. Cannot get the printer head to "return" where I can take out the large black tank and try another one.
I visited canon's website. the have general instructions on how to reset a malfunctioning printer. I've copied & pasted them for you here. Looking at the U0 43 (that is a "zero") error code, it appears as you suspected, that the black ink tank is either not seated properly or defective. 1st I'll paste the general instructions then canon's address. They have a "Service & Support" tab that you click in order to submit questions about your particular error/s.
Solution: Press ON/OFF switch to reset the multifunction device
Reset the device when it is not functioning properly. If the device is not functioning properly or to clear memory, reset it.
Note: It may be necessary to unplug the power cord if pressing the ON/OFF button does not shut off the printer.
