I want to install web cam to my dv6000 hp pavilion
I want to know the most compatible brand of webcam to support vista i had the uk-407 cam but i lost the driver, is it possible to install it or is it compatible to my laptop? in case how would i install it?
there are cases when i open my laptop there instances that some portion of the screen in tiny squares appearance, is it just normal? but it is also disappears after a minute or 2.
There are also instances that i have to put the virus protection in pause before i can access my e mails which i can not when it is on.Pls. advise me what to do best thanks and regards Bernie

It is possible that you may have not installed the webcam driver for it. Knowing windows it needs a driver for just about everything. Go to hp.com and go to support/drivers and type in your model number for your machine and download the driver for it. This should fix your problem. ok ..I dont know exactly the problem that you have ...but I am link-ing you to the site where you will find all drivers for your model ... so ..if you are running windows vista ....just go to control panel and uninstall the driver from remove programs .... then you either install the new driver ...and after that run the wizard from add new hardware ...or it will prompt you for a driver after you uninstall the old one ...I dont know if its a build in or not web cam ...anyway the procedure is the same ...you will be also be prompt for restart pav dv6000 drivers
