Question about LG DU-62SY20D 62" Rear Projection HDTV
I have bought the new 52sz8r lamp for the DLP LG tv but the old lamp has not blown yet. What I want to know is the procedure for resetting the lamp hours so I can turn off the annoying "Lamp Life Over Error" meassage as well as be ready for when the lamp blows. I believe part of the process shows how many lamp hours I would have clocked up on the current lamp - is that correct?
No its not correct this error message is telling you your lamp is going out and pruchasing a new one will reset this otherwise you have to cut some wires! i would not recommend that!
