Question about Sony VAIO® VGC-LS25E All-in-one Desktop PC Mac Notebook
Could be a bad lcd controller board inside that is heating up on the element thus making a bad connection or your set you video mode beyond the scope of you lcd and thus its not displaying.

If the screen turns off check display adapter
or driver is going bad
you might need a new power supply
