Question about Palm Treo 650 Handheld
It seems dead as a doornail, but makes two short angry-sounding beeps if i try to plug it into a charger.
with an old treo 650, plugging in the charger resulted in a happy sound when first plugged in and the same two angry beeps when disconnected. putting the new/dead treo's battery in it made the old treo 650 perfectly happy.
putting the battery from the old 650 into the new/dead one still only elicited the two angry beeps.
pressing the reset button did nothing. removing the battery and waiting half a minute before replacing did nothing.
Ok, I think I have the solution to turn a palm 650 treo on, no matter what... Ok, take the battery out, hold down the button on the right side above the red ph one button, as you put the battery back in. Hold it and then release when the phone doesn't seem to be doing anything... and it somehow releases the network and other programs from jamming up! Hope this works for everyone out there, like it worked for me... I yelped a yahoo because I am girl and I just kinda figured it out as my dad, an engineer taught me to trouble shoot anything with batteries :)

Could be a dodgy power connection this seems to be happening a lot at the momentif you look at other threads here.
