Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
Basically, my xbox has had one red light on the bottom right corner for about two months now, and the error code is E 73. My xbox warranty is gone, and I've already had it fixed two times before this, and I don't want to spend $100 knowing that it could easily break for a fourth time. The weird thing is, when I tried turning my console on today, it actually worked! In hopes that the problem miraculously disappeared, I turned it off and on again. It doesn't work. I don't have the money or patience to get it fixed for a third time, and buying a new xbox is completely out of the question. Is there anything I can do that doesn't require me to do a lot of re-wiring (I am not very tech-savy) or pay hundreds of dollars just to fix it? Please help.
E73: General Hardware Error: Ethernet port... this error is caused by
a problem with the Ethernet port.
this is a integrated part that is shared with the motherboard and, this will require the hands of a Microsoft tech. the entire port will need to be clipped and replaced on the mother board, via solder iron. this actual port is not available for purchase. use this number below to contact Microsoft.

Hello!!! This is a serious problem you have here but nothing is imposibble, look, i think the "GURU" who answer you (no offense) really can't help you because he is a worker on this sh%& of microsoft, who aren't be able to do a good console like nintendo but this isn't the case so let's get it. I have the same problem about 2 months ago what i do is void the warranty (which doesn't work for anything) and open my console till i get it with the CPU and the GPU, then i grab my professional heat gun and set it to 500 grades centigrade, and for about 5 min reheating the area who doesn't work (is the area who contains the GPU, the XSB and the ANA) with slow motions and then change his paste (i really recommend you the famous Artic Silver) and if that doesn't work do it all again (i do it about 4 times till i reapir the console) i hope this work for you like it do for me.
P.S. don't do the things that shows in youtube it's a really waste of time!!!
