Check your capacitor. If this is an add on remote, set the fan on high with the remote then pull the chain on the fan until you get high speed.

There are bearing in the fan but they are sealed. You could take it down and clean it real well. The bearings are hard to get to and the fan is not that expensive to replace.

Most likely it's the capisitor. Hopefully you kept the original pull chain switch because that need to be put back. Just because the switch looks the same on the outside doesn't mean it's the same on the inside.

Sounds like something is binding. If you have full voltage on the fan and you can't find the source of what is binding, you will have to replace it.

dont you have a three position pull switch on the unit like a three-way light bulb or if you have a remote controlled fan it should have it on the remote control

Slow spinning of the fan might be caused by a low voltage. Is there any way you can measure the voltage, and if the wires are properly connected, check for any loose wiring or rust in between connections. Maybe the breaker that supplies power to the fans has a loose connections inside, try putting a new breaker of same rated current. Check if those three fans are connected to the same breaker. Breaker can go bad from the inside not doing a proper connection and supplying a low voltage, this might be causing the slow spinning of the fan. Second the black box in the space with all the wires is called the capacitor.

I recently replaced my hampton bay fan for the same reason (slow at all speeds) and discovered scorched and melted capacitors and wiring inside the fan. My suggestion is to stop using fan and replace immediately.
