Replacing electrical cable on Air conditioner

Have an air conditioner and needed to replace the electrical cable. Well a week later and got the part and the person that took the conditioner apart has forgotten how to put it back together. So, now I have two plugs that need to attach to the compasitor and there is four plugs to choose from. I hope someone can help me, I don't know and had I taken it apart I would have made a note to know.

AC button on 1996 Honda Passport doesn't come on?

I think it's coincidental; I think the air conditioning fuse or circuit breaker has blown. Check the fusebox - this fuse should be labeled "AC" or "A/C".

Duo therm rv air conditioner fan wont spin

If the motor gets real hot you should be able to have it removed and tested---better to replace if bad than rebuild in most cases.

try to check your compressor if working if not check electrical parts like capacitor. overload if defect replace. also try if compressor working observe the condensing unit fan blowing hot air if not theres possibilities of leakage of refrigerant gas need for braze leak then recharge refigerant gas. or possible compressor loose compression need for replacement.

Air Conditioner shut down.

Set your thermostat to "ON". If the system continues to shut off and resumes later then you have an electrical failure within the unit or its just cluttered with junk. Check through the vent holes visually for debri. If there is enough to cause concern, remove the nuts holding the grill above the fan once you have flipped the breaker for the unit. (you definately dont want that thing kicking on with your arm inside)

if the unit stays on then you have a bad thermostat.
also pay attention to the temp of the exterior unit, if it gets too hot to touch then that is a sign of an electrical component failure and needs to be diagnosed through more troubleshooting

AC wont turn on after replacing 3 amp

My guess would be that your cable installer drilled into or nailed into an electric supply to your AC. I'd suggest calling the cable company (groan,......) (30 minutes later,.....)
Oh hello,.....
To tell them what happened and see if they would like to contact a repair person of their choice, or if they want you to forward the paid invoice for them to re-imburse you. Good luck.

When a compressor is has to start. 1. HAs it been off longer than five minutes. As a service tech when I run on to this problem I install a hard start kit and a time delay. The start kit helps the compressor to start under heavy load condtions. The timer helps the compressor to balance out before tryng to start. Have tech set at 5 minutes. I install hard start kits and time delays on all my change outs. Replace problem will go away. Thanks Rus
