Question about E-Machines EMA IMPERIAL GV (845GV) TG3 eMachines (145119) Motherboard
I need to find the diagram to show where the power led and power switch wires coming from the front panel switch to the board
The system is getting power but noting is initializing
I tried to find it on the emachine site but was not successful
Once I am sure of the correct connections of the power sw wires and if it still continues to do nothing but show power light on the board, what would you reccommend? should i strip the system down to board or do you think the board is shot?
Any advise would be greatly appriciated
Here is the diagram that shows you how to hook up the wires:
If you still have no video then reseat the memory one stick at a time in one slot at a time.
If you still have no video then reseat the cpu into its slot.
If still no luck try a different stick of RAM by trying it one slot a time.
Last step, unhook the power connectors from your device so the only power connectors that are connected are the power to the motherboard and the p4 connector to the motheboard. Also make sure your power supply is set to 115v. Its the red switch on the back of the power supply.
If none of this works, then the motherboard is bad. Hope this information helps.
