Question about 1995-1997 Chevy Suburban Ignition Starter Alarm switch
Our 1997 Chevy suburban will turn over but will not start. My husband checked the fuel pump relay but could not determine if that was the problem- how would we know?
turns over but will not start. Somewhat solved: there is a fuel line on the air cleaner side that is somewhat stomped up. When the hose is blown in and then reinserted, the truck starts. It will run for awhile but eventually it will clog again. Good luck.

When turning the key on you should hear the fuel pump turn on for a sec or so.take 2 people one turn the key and the other listen by the fuel tank. It might also need a new distributer cap, plugs and wires.
