Question about Pantech Duo Smartphone
My girlfriend is on her second Pantech Duo, a phone she switched to when she dropped her RAZR into a bucket of water....
Anyways... The phones worked great until about their sixth month of existence.
The battery life drops to about 8 hours standby.
It randomly shuts off.
It will fail to receive calls.
It will stop messaging.
She got a new batter for the first phone, and that fixed the problem for about a week, so they sent her a new phone. New phone worked just like the old one did and about 5 and a half months after she got it, it started doing the same thing.
Any suggestions on what we can do to make this thing start working again?
Sounds like the battery is shot. Get a new battery and fully charge it. I try to charge my phone more off of a power outlet and not the cigarette lighter in a auto. The battery will last longer that way. something about cigarette lighters. As far as the messaging and failed calls goes. up grade your tower signals. contact your cell phone company and get the number for upgrading the towers.
