Question about Wacom Graphire 4 "Silver" 4x5 (WMM132369)
I have plugged my tablet to the back of the computer, installed the new drivers, and restarted the computer and the pen still seems to not work correctly. The sensor reacts before I put the pen down on the tablet. I used it at work on a windows xp machine and it was doing the same thing, then I took it home to my Mac OSX machine and same thing. What can I do?
Everyone thinks the pen is defective, so it must be another problem like sensitivity settings, which can be changed. See Manual.

I have the exact same problem, and I can't find anything, until now, on the web about it. I think perhaps the pen is defective because the mouse works fine.

Set the Pen Tablet Properties to a click for the large button on the pen. Now when you are in the program you are trying to use, make all your selections using the pen with the click. I had the same problem in Photoshop. I would try and do something with the pen and it would start drawing before I ever touched the pad. When I set down the pen near the menu side of the pad and select the tool I want to use, it works fine and only draws while clicking. Hope it helps.
