Hooking Sanyo TV up to a computer

I have a Sanyo TV model DP32746 and want to hook my computer up to it. I have a VGA output from the computer; a VGA to DVI adaptor; DVI to HDMI adaptor. When I plug it all together and put in the HDMI input on the TV it still shows "No Signal". How do I make this work?

its not right to use the VGA output ( Monitor output ) its better to use the HDMI output, plus you can't hear sound from VGA output.. so the best is HDMI

Well i thinking about hooking my t.v. to computer with out unhooking computer screen. i need to know were to plug in the t.v.

This will only work if you have a graphics card with two outputs; if you do, they will be right next to eachother, and will be a s-video (small round) VGA (blue) DVI (white) or HDMI (trapezoid).

I have Sanyo Model No. DS32224, is it possible to hook up the tv to be used as a monitor for my computer?

Yes. However, it may not be worthwhile.

Most likely, you need a VGA to composite or component video converter. See the following URL for some ideas: http://www.hdtvsupply.com/vgatococo1.html .

Some video graphics cards can output in a TV format. In that case, you just need the appropriate connector and to set the computer to do this. You need to check the specs of your card (or find one that fits your machine with the feature). These cards usually have an S-video output connection. Use this carefully - most computers output RGB and TVs do not read RGB signals.

I hope this helps.

My computer is hooked up to my tv(sanyo ds27425) thru S-video from my radeon 7500 family graphics card, it works well for awhile then the screen goes blue! sound still works and downloads still come in...

Personally I never liked s-video, especially when you have component available. But I think that the pins in the cable on one end is either real dirty, or possibly bent. There could also be foreign debris in the input/output ( TV/PC ) of the adapters. Or the cable you have just is no good. Hopefully it's not the video card itself. Try hooking up a VGA monitor and run it the same amount of time you do with the TV connected. If that's OK, try canned air in the input/output ( TV/PC ) ,and replace the S-Video cable. Good Luck!!

Hooking up new tv to surround sound

I recently purchased a vizio 37" LCD tv, I have tried everything in hooking up my Sony DVD surround system to the TV. However, I found no audio output on this TV. Could you tell me if there is a way to hook the tv directly up to the surround without an output?
Is there something else I need to buy?
