Question about Compaq TC1100 (/) PENTIUM M 753 1.2GHZ 10.4INCH 1024X768 60.0G 512MBMB (PX284AAABA) Tablet PC

No keyboard instructions

Top left hand corner of keyboard are 2 "padlocks", one 1 in it, the other has A. When A is lit, Caps Lock is on. Presumably 1 is for Numbers Lock, and is lit, but I cannot release it. Consequently the Alphanumeric keys J,K,L,U,I,O etc will only type as numbers.

You need to press the Function button, then the num lock button. The function button may be labeled FN or F in a different color, the same color as the num lock button.

If that doesn't work, go to start, all programs, accessories, accesibility, on screen keyboard....it will display a regular keyboard on your screen, then click on the num lock key on that keyboard.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

In your Settings app, go to General-->Keyboard and make sure the "Enable Caps Lock" is on (green).

Why has my Facebook page now showing what appears to be Arabic or similar printing? And how do I get it back to English?

Got to the padlock icon, John, on the right of the blue band at the top of the page. On the drop down click on the pale blue bit at the bottom, the left hand of the links, as you won't be able to read the arabic(!) On the next page that opens, look at the top left and you will see two small gear cog shapes, which is the general page. Click it.
Next will open your general account settings. Go to the second from the bottom and click on the word at the right hand side. This should open up the languages option for you to change it back to English. FYI English(Pirate) is a fun one to try. Good luck.

I need to turn off private browsing to get into my yahoo account. I have followed instructions--settings, safari-- dead end. Been told to press 'pages'bottom right hand corner, but this isn't there. HE

Step 1: Open Safari on your iPhone/iPad
Step 2: Tap on the tab icon (bottom left). This shows you the tabs that are open (in the new rolodex style) 72c761aa-0c49-4247-8164-d7dba95926c6.jpg
