Re: Hotpoint Ultima W860
Hi there f10 fault code means pressure switch not sensing,
this could be to do with low water pressure or a bad connection on the pressure switch or control module which is located at the back left hand corner of the machine, remove backplate to gain access and remake all connections on module, if this should not resolve the fault i would be looking to replace the pressure first part no= C00112659 cost about £15
ps. always disconnect from mains before carrying out any work

Hi F10 means no fill Check cold tap is turned on and there is water to the machine.if water is ok it gets a bit more technical it could be a faulty water valve coil or pressure switch.Check the water supply first slacken the fill hose a bit on the back of the washing machine and see if there is any water pressure thats a good start .
Regards Elect app
F10 is indicating 2 possible probs with your m/c.
1-interrmittent cold water supply, check pressure and hose.
2-water level switch not sensing correctly, possibly sticking or partially blocked.
Hotpoint recommend calling an engineer for a pressure switch prob. but there callout is £90.00!!!!!.
Plz rate my solution.
f05 is a drainage problem, ther may be something stuck in your pump.
its in the back of the machine in the corner. take the side hose off and unclip the pump from machine and look in to see the propellor may have foriegn object in.
You said, you have a Hotpoint Ultima 1200 Washier dryer model WD71s and keep getting an E30 error code after it fills with water.
Any idea what the problem is?
This is what Hotpoint tells us! E30 = A motor drive problem has occurred.Try running the programme again. If the problem persists call for a Service Engineer.
BUT, I will tell you to unplug the appliance for 5 minutes and see if this resets the system and solves the error code. Sometimes it is only a glitch and you can reboot and be alright if there is really no mechanical failure!! Let me know how it goes? Huuum, Please remember to leave a rating! Thank You. Waiting for your response!
i have a hotpoint ultima ctd80 which i have had the last 2 years, it has shown error codes f11, f10 and f15, every time i fix this problem by first switching off and unplugging appliance then removing small cover from back (middle with 2 screws) then larger panel that the smaller panel overlapped. once you remove these you will see the heating elements, remove the 2 screws at the back off this, remove cover carefully then at the top you will see two things (not very technical lol i am a woman), with a pin press the pin in the one with a hole, mine makes a clicking sound when i do it, not sure if it meant to but works for me. put all parts back together and thats the job done. make sure both fillters and water emptied regular, hope this helps and saves you a fortune on call outs
