Dear Sir,
I am using P-3 intel based motherboard having linux operating system installed , This is RHEL5 version . I have network adapter of RTL 8139D. Kindly suggest me the suitable drivers to download.

Hi
There is a problem with that model and Linux in that some generic builders falsely ID the NIC as that model when it really is not, which is why the dirver modules will not automatically see it.
Assuming for the moment that your card is the real deal, there are two modules that you should be able to use to load it into the kernel - 8139too and 8139cp.
Do a remake and enable one, compile and reboot and see if that works, if not then do it for the other.
If that does not help, bug the issue on the RH site.

i have installed a redhat 4 update 2 OS to my system, locally it is
pinging but it is unable to establish connection between other system.
I think there is a problem in NIC driver because for the same
motherboard and same NIC card, the other system is establishing the
connection. I am not sure what is the problem. It is very very urgent.
